Hospitalman Alejandro Gomezfigueroa, assigned to Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton (NHCP), assembles glasses in the optometry department's spectacle fabrication lab. NHCP is one of ten military treatment facilities overseen by Navy Medicine West (NMW). Throughout the region, NMW provides medical care to nearly 700,000 beneficiaries throughout the West Coast of the U.S., Asia, and the Pacific.
