A Japan Air Self Defense Force F- 15 pilot, gives the peace sign aboard a KC-135 Statotanker during an air refueling mission in support of exercise Cope North 2012, Anderson Air Force Base, Guam Feb. 22, 2012. The U.S. Air Force, the Japanese Air Defense and the Royal Australian Air Force began exercise Cope North 2012 here Feb. 11. The exercise, scheduled to run through Feb. 24, is the latest in a series of multinational exercises designed to enhance air operations between the three Pacific allies.
