U.S. Air Force airmen of the 36th Force Support Squadron help Senior Airman Asha Kin, aerial combat photographer from the 1st Combat Camera Squadron, Joint Base Charleston, S.C., evacuate the aircraft during Exercise COPE NORTH, Anderson Air Force Base, Guam. Exercise COPE NORTH 2012, a three week exercise between the U.S. Air Force, the Japan Air Self Defense Force and the Royal Australian Air Force, began Feb. 11 here bringing more than 1,000 service members to the island. The exercise, which will run through Feb. 24, is designed to enhance air operations and serve as a reminder of the three nations are commitment to preserving peace in the Pacific area of responsibility.
