Candidates of the Best Warrior Competition are getting their first taste of the new Army Combat Fitness Test, a gender- and age-neutral test with six-event readiness assessment that replaces the current three-event Army Physical Fitness Test, which has been around since 1980. The Best Warrior Competition is an individual competition that challenges the U.S. Army Medical Department Activity Bavaria's best junior officers, noncommissioned officers and soldiers in a demanding, continuous, and realistic simulated operational environment; encompassing various warfighter tasks.
