FASLANE, Scotland (May 6, 2019) - Boatswain’s Mate Seaman Timothy Mallon, from Philadelphia, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Carney (DDG 64) throws a heaving line across to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Roosevelt (DDG 80) while mooring in Faslane, Scotland, May 6, 2019. Carney, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is on its sixth patrol in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of regional allies and partners as well as U.S. national security interests in Europe and Africa.
