Ty Neuman, director of the Commander’s Action Group for USSTRATCOM, during Neuman’s promotion ceremony to the rank of brigadier general at Offutt Air Force Base, May 3, 2019. Neuman will become the principal assistant deputy administrator for military application in Washington D.C. He will serve as a liaison between the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration to ensure the DoD’s best interests are properly conveyed when working acquisitions for various components within the military.
