NORFOLK (April 27, 2019 Rear Adm. Nancy S. Lacore, vice commander, U. S. 6th Fleet, attended the Returning Warrior Workshop (RWW) and revealed herself prior to the banquet of honor for attendees. She shared her experiences of overcoming long periods of separation from her family and thanked attendees for their continued service. The Returning Warrior Workshop is geared to help Sailors and their families navigate through the transition of returning from mobilizations. Experienced facilitators and counselors guide Sailors and theirs families through presentations and small-group sessions that tackle topics ranging from financial wellness to how to reestablish a healthy work-family balance.
