A Coalition Forces psychological operations team and members of the Peshmerga media cell successfully set up a recently-divested radio-in-a-box (RIAB) at the Directorate of Awareness building for a test run in Erbil, Iraq, May 2, 2019. The engagement was to discuss the status quo of media capabilities and offer additional assistance to strengthen them. The Coalition continues to support enhancements of Iraq’s security-related ministries and major Iraqi Security Force (ISF) commands to develop a sustainable and inclusive ISF that can secure its sovereign borders, protect the population and ensure a lasting defeat of ISIS.
