Gomez, a U.S. Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP) instructor with Naval Amphibious Force, Task Force 51/5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade, hosts MCMAP training for Soldiers from the British Army deployed to the region. The MCMAP is a combat system developed by the U.S. Marine Corps to combine existing and new hand-to-hand and close quarters combat techniques with morale, team-building functions, and instruction in the Warrior Ethos.
