Brig. Gen. Bryan Watson, Joint Engineering Director of United States Forces-Afghanistan, traveled to the construction site of Route Detroit, a 2.5 km combat patrol route in Regional Command-South, Afghanistan. Watson commended the 721st Engineer Company, Grand Prairie, Texas, for their roll in helping move combat troops to areas where the insurgents reside.
