Just a little dab will do ya...Naval Base Kitsap Sexual Assault Prevention and Response program staff members, supported by Kitsap Sexual Assault Center and Naval Hospital Bremerton, held their 'Almost 5K' Color Run, April 26, 2019. The fun run, which attracted several hundred participants, provided an active - and colorful - joint effort in continuing to raise awareness and connect runners, walkers, volunteers, and other members of the community to share the goal of creating a safe and secure environment free of sexual violence and harassment. The Navy has designated April as Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month, (SAAPM), with various events throughout the area taking on proactive visible roles in both the military and civilian communities, including those that call for miles with smiles (Official Navy photo by Douglas H Stutz, Naval Hospital Bremerton Public Affairs).
