Guests serve themselves breakfast during the Onslow County Partnership for Children’s 17th Annual State of the Child Breakfast at the Onslow County Government Complex in Jacksonville, North Carolina, April 26, 2019. The breakfast was intended to celebrate local area children, as well as promote awareness for Child Abuse Prevention Month. Some of the speakers for the breakfast included Jacksonville Mayor Sammy Phillips, First Lady of North Carolina Kristen Cooper and Marine Corps Child of the Year Jaxson Jordan.
