The 8th Fighter Squadron poses for a group photo, April 10, 2019, on Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans, La. No longer was the 8th FS in the high altitudes of the dry, brown desert of Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., but was now below sea level in the humid, deep south of Louisiana to conduct dissimilar aircraft training and close air support.
