190413-N-IK959-4432 NASHVILLE, (April 13, 2019) – Cocke County (Tennessee) High School Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC) claimed the overall championship trophy at the 2019 Vanderbilt University NJROTC/MCJROTC Drill Competition in the Recreation and Wellness Center on campus here, April 13. The event has been held off and on for more than 25 years and is hosted by Vanderbilt’s Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC). More than 250 cadets from six Navy and four Marine Corps JROTC units in Tennessee, Kentucky and Arkansas participated in the one-day drill and athletic event.
