190413-N-IK959-3325 NASHVILLE, (April 13, 2019) – Anderson County (Tennessee) High School Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC) Seaman Apprentice Shelby Freyre (top), 15, from Lake City, Tennessee, and Chief Petty Officer Courtney Neer, 15, from Clinton, Tennessee participate in a Buddy Drag and Fireman’s Carry Relay Race hosted by the Vanderbilt University Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) unit in the university’s Recreation and Wellness Center on campus here, April 13. More than 250 cadets from six Navy and four Marine Corps JROTC units in Tennessee, Kentucky and Arkansas participated in the drill and athletic event.
