190413-N-IK959-3322 NASHVILLE, (April 13, 2019) – U. S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. William Michener, Assistant Marine Officer Instructor (AMOI) with the Vanderbilt University Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) unit observes Navy and Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (JROTC) cadets participate in a Buddy Drag and Fireman’s Carry Relay Race hosted by the Vanderbilt’s NROTC in the university’s Recreation and Wellness Center on campus here, April 13. More than 250 cadets from six Navy and four Marine Corps JROTC units in Tennessee, Kentucky and Arkansas participated in the one-day drill and athletic event.
