190413-N-IK959-2077 NASHVILLE, (April 13, 2019) – Vanderbilt University Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) midshipmen and MECEP (Marine Corps Enlisted Commissioning Education Program) staff sergeant judge the Hendersonville (Tennessee) High School Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (MCJROTC) Unarmed Basic platoon, during a NJROTC/MCJROTC drill competition hosted by Vanderbilt’s NROTC unit in the university’s Recreation and Wellness Center on campus here, April 13. More than 250 cadets from six Navy and four Marine Corps JROTC units in Tennessee, Kentucky and Arkansas participated in the one-day event.
