Motley a native of Cocoa Beach, Fla., graduated from Cocoa Beach Junior Senior High School in May of 2014 before enlisting in August of 2017. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continually forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible and lethal force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premier crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
