Cpl. Brad C. Fite from Detroit smiles as he plays with his service dog “Duke” during the 2012 Marine Corps Trials wheelchair basketball practice timeout. Fite is competing for a spot on the All-Marine wheelchair basketball team which is playing in this year's Warrior Games. The Marine Corps Trials is a USMC Wounded Warrior Regiment hosted event in which approximately 300 wounded, ill or injured Marines compete for a spot on the 50-athlete, All-Marine team roster. The selected athletes will go on to compete in the Warrior Games in Colorado Springs, April 30 – May 6. Fite was wounded in Afghanistan in 2010.
