More than 50 percent of the crew and operators were female on this mission -- an intentional scheduling in honor of Women's History Month 2019. Team JSTARS is a joint manned, airborne command and control, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and combat support force providing information to combatant commanders world-wide.
