    190414-N-CL765-1004 U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (April 14, 2019) Aviation Machinist’s Mate 3rd Class Jennaviere Gravois, attached to Patrol Squadron (VP) 40, uses a mac bar to remove the forward engine mount access panel on the engine of a P-3C Orion Aircraft during a maintenance inspection. VP-40 is deployed to the U.S. 5th and 7th Fleet areas of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security. VP-40 is the last active-duty squadron to fly the P-3C Orion aircraft and after this deployment will transition to the P-8 Poseidon.
