The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln and the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sterett turn in formation ahead of the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Cape St. George as the Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group transits the Strait of Hormuz. The Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility conducting maritime security operations, theater security cooperation efforts and support missions as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.
