    NAVAL AIR STATION CORPUS CHRISTI – (April 14, 2019) Chief Information Systems Technician Kimberly Allen (lower right) of San Antonio, assigned to Navy Officer Recruiting Station Corpus Christi, monitors Jeremiah Watson of Corpus Christi, a diesel mechanic, who accomplished 40 dead-hang pull-ups during the Pull-up Challenge held at the Navy’s Virtual Reality Experience, the NIMITZ, during, the 2019 Wings Over South Texas Air Show featuring the U. S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels. Recruiters from Navy Recruiting District (NRD) San Antonio were on-hand to engage eligible attendees on a possible career in America’s Navy and to spread Navy Awareness. The mission of the U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron is to showcase the pride and professionalism of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps by inspiring a culture of excellence and service to country through flight demonstrations and community outreach. NRD San Antonio’s area of responsibility includes more than 30 Navy Recruiting Stations and Navy Officer Recruiting Stations spread throughout 144,000 square miles of Central and South Texas territory.
