CAMP BUEHRING, Kuwait (April 11, 2019) U.S. Marine Sgt. Jessica Stamper, center, a radio operator with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, acts as a position safety officer during a dry combat marksmanship range as a part of Female Engagement Team training. FET Marines worked to build and sharpen their skills in preparation for combat marksmanship training alongside partner nations. Marines and Sailors with the 22nd MEU and Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group are deployed to the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
