U.S. Marines and Airmen join Filipino counterparts during a boodle fight lunch at Clark Air Base, Philippines, April 12, 2019, during Exercise Balikatan. A boodle fight lunch is a Filipino military tradition where the “fight” in the name refers to the act of grabbing and eating as much as the soldier can before others grab the food. During Balikatan, U.S. Marines and Airmen with Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting worked shoulder to shoulder with the Filipino Crash Fire Rescue, always ready in the event of an emergency.
