U.S. Army Spc. Joaquin D. Reed Jr., center with M4 carbine, Delta Company, 104th Brigade Engineer Battalion, completes the 12-mile ruck march – the final event of the New Jersey Army National Guard’s Best Warrior Competition at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., April 11, 2019. Five Soldiers, one Airman, and three NCOs competed in the Competition, April 8-11, 2019. The top Soldier and NCO will compete in the Region 1 Competition against National Guard Troops from the six New England states and New York.
