Staff Sgt. Jerimiah Schwab, a CH-47 Chinook crewchief assigned to the 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kansas, takes in the view of Hohenfels, Germany, during an area-of-operations flight April 2, 2019. Exercise Allied Spirit X includes approximately 5,600 participants from 15 nations, March 30 – April 17, 2019, at the 7th Army Training Command’s Hohenfels Training Area in southeastern Germany. Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army Europe-directed, 7th Army Training Command-conducted multinational exercise series designed to develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.
