Master Sgt. Scott Kapanke fishes on Feb. 14, Bushy Park, Goose Creek, S.C. Kapanke battled 43 tumors throughout his body and successfully defeated testicular cancer. He used his desire to fish again to help him not give up during his treatment. He fought a forced military retirement and went on to deploy to Iraq for a year and serve as a crew chief with the U.S.A.F. Thunderbirds.
