Rows of tricon containers filled with construction equipment are lined up behind the supply warehouse at Camp Mitchell, here. The tricons are part of a Seabee Battalion’s Table of Allowance which has everything needed to operate in any environment. In the event that the Naval Mobile Construction Battalion is deployed to a combat zone or somewhere to provide relief for a humanitarian disaster, the containers will be loaded on a ship or aircraft and shipped to the location needed. NMCB 3 is an expeditionary element of U.S. Naval Forces Europe and Africa providing construction, engineering, and security services in support of national strategy, naval power projection, humanitarian assistance, and contingency operations.
