Aviation Electricians Mate 1st Class Chris Burke, from Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Detachment Misawa, uses a ruler to measure shoe cubbies being built for students enrolled at Cummings Elementary School here. Navy Misawa chief petty officers and first class petty officers worked together as part of the CPO 365 program to build 10 cubbies for the students to utilize during Misawa’s snowy winters. The CPO 365 program is designed to provide chief petty officer mentorship to first class petty officers, while also introducing greater aspects of senior enlisted leadership, responsibility and accountability.
