APRA HARBOR, Guam (April 8, 2019) Vice Adm. Tatsuhiko Takashima, commander of Fleet Submarine Forces for the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, arrives at the quarterdeck of the submarine tender USS Emory S. Land (AS 39) for a scheduled tour. During his visit to Guam, Takashima viewed ships, facilities and sites on island including ship repair, quality-of-life facilities for submariners and partnership opportunities in the region.
