ATLANTIC OCEAN (April 5, 2019) An F/A-18F Super Hornet, assigned to the “Fighting Checkmates” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 211, launches from the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). Harry S. Truman is currently underway conducting a Sustainment Exercise (SUSTEX) with Carrier Strike Group Eight ships and squadrons to maintain qualifications and a deployment-ready status.
