The Florida National Guard Counterdrug Program was presented the 2012 Outstanding State National Guard Civil Operations Program Award during the 2012 Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America National Leadership Forum in Washington, D.C., Feb. 7. Members accepting on behalf of the Florida National Guard Counterdrug Civil Operations Program included (from left) 1st Sgt. Wesley Erb, 1st Lt. Roye Locklear, Lt. Col. Michael Powers, 1st Sgt. Alain Roque, Capt. Jeanette Kingsley in addition to Maj. Gen. David Harris, director, Domestic Operations & Force Development, National Guard Bureau, Maj. Gen. (retired) Arthur Dean, chairman / chief executive officer, CADCA and Col. William Beiswenger Jr., director, Joint Directorate of Intelligence and Domestic Operations, Florida National Guard. The Program is being recognized for their outstanding and longstanding commitment to community coalitions in Florida.
