NORCO, Calif. (March 29, 2019) Sailors and civilian personnel at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division (NSWC Corona), are joined by Sailors from the Naval Operation Support Center (NOSC), Moreno Valley, during the National Vietnam War Veterans Day bell-ringing ceremony at NSWC Corona. Beginning on Memorial Day 2012, the federal government partnered with local governments, private organizations, and communities across America to participate in the commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War, a 13-year program to honor and give thanks to our brave Vietnam veterans who, in service to our Nation and in defense of liberty, fought gallantly against the spread of communism and defended the freedom of the Vietnamese people.
