Interior Communications Electrician (ICFN), Patrica S. Cruz from San Jacinto, Calif., does soldering work on the 21 MC, aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1). Wasp is in the initial phase of Exercise Bold Alligator 2012, the largest naval amphibious exercise in the past 10 years. The exercise focuses on today's fight with today's forces, while showcasing the advantages of seabasing.
