Soldiers from the 1st Squadron, 75th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, based out of Fort Campbell, Ky., begin a convoy at a location near Tan Tan, Morocco, March 25, 2019, to start exercise African Lion 2019.Various units from the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force and Utah Air and Army National Guard will conduct multi-lateral training with units from the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces across the Kingdom of Morocco. Exercise African Lion 2019 is a combined multi-national event focused on improving mutual understanding while demonstrating the strong bond between the nations’ militaries.
