Soldiers from 2nd Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment and 38th Engineer Company, both assigned to 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, detonate a Bangalore torpedo, typically used to reduce wire obstacles, Feb. 4 at Range 9S here. The units worked together constructing and detonating explosives as part of Exercise Raider Focus. The monthlong brigade training exercise is designed to challenge the ability of leaders and soldiers to conduct full spectrum operations as a combined arms team.
