Sailors and Marines embarked aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS New York head toward the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Laramie aboard a rigid-hull inflatable boat as part of an enhanced visit, board, search and seizure training evolution during Certification Exercise. New York is underway for the certification exercise, the final qualification for the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit and the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group before their scheduled spring deployment.
