Recruits with Alpha Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, muscle through an obstacle during Confidence Course at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, March 25. Recruits were challenged to practice discipline by pushing their bodies through every obstacle. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Alpha Company is scheduled to graduate May 31.
