Medical forces from Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, and the U.S. participate in the medical readiness exercise to prepare locals for the medical capabilities event that will be held Feb. 8, 2012 as part of Cobra Gold 2012. The exercise improves the capability to plan and conduct combined joint operations, building relationships between partnering nations and improving interoperability across the Asia-Pacific region.
