U.S. soldiers of Task Force Volunteer (2nd Battalion, 162nd Infantry, Oregon Army National Guard) and Thai soldiers from 3rd Infantry Division, Royal Thai Army, render salutes during opening ceremonies at Camp Friendship (Korat) for Exercise Cobra Gold 2012. This is the first time in the 31-year history of Cobra Gold that a National Guard battalion has participated in the multinational combined arms exercise conducted in various locations throughout Thailand.
