NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY BAHRAIN (March 19, 2019) Brig. Gen. Matthew Trollinger, commanding general of Naval Amphibious Force, Task Force 51/5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade, introduces Under Secretary of the Navy Thomas B. Modly during a town hall session with TF 51/5 as part of a visit to Bahrain. Modly met with senior leaders, visited with Marines and Sailors and held a question-and-answer session. TF 51/5 serves as U.S. Marine Forces, Central Command and U.S. Naval Forces Central Command’s primary crisis response capability, entrusted with synchronizing crisis response units in support of amphibious operations in the region.
