Maj. David Guida, the support operations officer for 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, plays guitar and sings backup vocals with the praise and worship band at Forward Operating Base Walton during a prayer luncheon held in the dining facility Feb. 6. Guida is one of six members in the band, which played many up-lifting songs during the luncheon. The luncheon guest speaker was Col. (retired) Danny McKnight, who was the battalion commander of Task Force Ranger when they were deployed to Somalia in 1993 and whose unit is the basis for the movie “Black Hawk Down.”
