The praise and worship band at Forward Operating Base Walton performs in the dining facility for a large crowd during a prayer luncheon, Feb. 6. The band has six members that include: two vocalists, two guitar players, a base player and a drummer. The luncheon was open to everyone and the guest speaker was retired Col. Danny McKnight, who was the battalion commander of Task Force Ranger when they were deployed to Somalia in 1993 and whose unit is the basis for the movie “Black Hawk Down.”
