CHARLESTON, S.C. (March 12, 2019) Rear Adm. Daniel “Dano” Fillion, Director Manpower Account Transition Office, Bureau of Naval Personnel, and native of Goose Creek, S.C., talks with Citadel Baseball infielder Tilo Skole prior to throwing out the first pitch during the Citadel – South Carolina game. Fillion was in the greater Charleston area as part of Navy Week Charleston and had the opportunity to meet with several area leaders and businesses in addition to touring his alma mater high school and college. Navy Weeks serve as the U.S. Navy's principal outreach effort into areas of the country that lack a significant Navy presence, helping Americans understand that their Navy is deployed around the world, around the clock, ready to defend America at all times.
