Recruits with Delta Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, execute a drill movement during drill practice at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, March 21. Recruits are taught a series of commands and movements by their drill instructors that increases progressively throughout recruit training. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Delta Company is scheduled to graduate May 3.
