SAN ANTONIO – (March 20, 2019) Navy Counselor 1st Class Steven Comacho of Stockton, Calif., assigned to Navy Recruiting Station New Braunfels, sings the national anthem during the opening ceremonies of the San Antonio Spurs Military Appreciation Night presented by USAA at the AT&T Center. Comacho, a 1997 graduate of Lincoln High School, joined America’s Navy in 1998 becoming a career recruiter in 2010. Navy Recruiting District (NRD) San Antonio’s area of responsibility includes more than 30 Navy Recruiting Stations and Navy Officer Recruiting Stations spread throughout 144,000 square miles of Central and South Texas territory.
