A Marine with the 2AA Battalion, Delta Company, 3rd Platoon, navigates an amphibious assault vehicle to amphibious assault ship USS Wasp during the initial phase of Exercise Bold Alligator 2012, the largest naval amphibious exercise in the past 10 years. The exercise focuses on today's fight with today's forces, while showcasing the advantages of seabasing.
