190315-N-RU084-1002 OXNARD, CALIF. (Mar. 15, 2019) – Seabees from Underwater Construction Team 2 (UCT-2) and Sailors from Coastal Riverine Squadrons (CRS) 3 and 11 transit out to Santa Rosa Island, California in 34-foot patrol boats to perform hydrographic survey and pier damage assessment training in support of Exercise Pacific Blitz 2019 (PacBlitz19). This training is the first time UCT-2 has worked with CRS and tests their ability to map areas for small craft landing enabling continued support to Navy and Marine Corps operations. PacBlitz19 provides realistic, relevant training necessary for effective global crisis response and provides reassurance to U.S. regional partners and allies of enduring commitment to regional stability.
