U.S. Marine Sgt. Jacob Daniel Melrose, the Regimental Combat Team 5 armory chief and native of Bayfield, Co., shoots targets on the move during a combat marksmanship training evolution here, Feb. 3. Marines and sailors of RCT-5 shot their weapons to calibrate for a battle sight zero, ensuring the accuracy of their optics, and executed various combat marksmanship drills during this training evolution. The training is designed to sharpen basic combat skills as RCT-5 begins the second half of its deployment.
